StayLocalX — Your local guide
STAYLOCALX is a platform that connects property owners with local businesses and travellers. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through our mobile app and website.
We collect the following information: • Account data: email address and role (property owner or business) • Property data: name, location, photos, and descriptions you provide • Usage data: how you interact with the app (screens visited, features used) • Device data: device type, OS version, and app version We do not collect location data without your explicit permission.
We use your data to: • Provide and improve the STAYLOCALX service • Process payments through Stripe (we never store card details) • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts) • Analyse usage to improve the product We will never sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the European Union. We apply industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.
We work with the following trusted third parties: • Supabase — database and authentication • Stripe — payment processing • Expo — mobile app delivery Each provider has their own privacy policy and processes data on our behalf under data processing agreements.

Our mobile app does not use cookies. Our website uses essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand usage patterns.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.
